Computer Database bringing FOR some relief
FOR rolled out a computer database for client information the first week in March. Until now, we have managed this process with an excel spreadsheet and lists.

It was taking hours to update and process the people that we serve and to put together our end of month reports. We were very happy to find a database on line that was built for food banks and a laptop was donated to FOR by a company that Alex Plaza works with. We are hoping that this will streamline our intake process each day that we hand out food and also our reporting process. We are also hoping that we will then be able to open a second day within a few weeks. Now we just need to find volunteers who are comfortable using a computer to help on food bank days. Anyone out there interested?
